Marakh Valley
Ladakh, with its awesome landscape & azure skies and with its interesting people with wizened faces & rosy cheeks, is an amazing place to visit. This ethereal cold desert, that is known by names such as ‘The Last Shangri La’, ‘Little Tibet’ etc, seldom fails to surprise. Flanked by two of the world's mightiest mountain ranges, the Great Himalayas and the Karakoram, Ladakh lies athwart two other mountain ranges i.e. the Ladakh range and the Zanskar range.landscape of desolate smooth rolling hills, jagged mountain peaks and high altitude desert plains

The Markha valley trail begins from Jingchen located deep inside the valley and crosses several remote picturesque villages with two passes en route - Ganda La (4920 M) and Kongmaru la (5150 M) till we reach Shang village, the ending point of our trek.

Testimonials

"Thanks to Steve and Kim, the two gentleman, who shepherded us safely to Greenland and back, dined us royally and toured us around Uummannaq Fjord for a couple of magical weeks. You guys were great in all respects. "
